In-World Biography
The peaceful Altan used advanced technology to shelter their world from the ravages of the galaxy, believing themselves to be above the wars that plagued other civilizations. So, when the Nictus arrived and the mighty empires around them fell, the Atlan did little to aid their neighbours or hinder these new invaders. After all, no enemy had set foot on Atla for a thousand years, and not even these strange energy beings could bypass the planetary defense shield. In the end however, it was the Atlan's pride that defeated them. Believing themselves immune, they did not anticipate Nictus agents infiltrating the defense center and disabled the planetary shield. The rest, as they say, is history. Once a respected scientist, Onu joined with a Keldian scholar named Aphelion to warn his people of the Nictus threat, but was banished by the xenophobic Atlan before he could warn them. With his world gone, he has traveled across the heavens in the hopes of preventing a similar tragedy on Earth.
